Lake Vermilion Blog
All the docks at White Eagle are up and we took the last boat out of the water today. As our fingers have been freezing along with the line in our line guides, it is definitely time. We caught beautiful walleyes, northern and bass and even spent October's full moon weekend musky hunting. After this season, September and October on Lake Vermilion are permanently etched in my brain as sacred months to be on the water. The beauty in the rocky land as the leaf trees take turns at center stage -first reds, then yellows, then browns- combined with the solitude of a season's end leave the soul feeling great! Of course, catching a couple fish helps too. Here's to a great season!
We still have the log cabins open for deer hunters and solitude seekers. Give Tom a call if you would like to come up!
